About Stuart:
Stuart
P. Stein attended Rye Neck High School and graduated in 1970. He attended American University from
1970-1973, graduating with a BA degree, followed by a Masters degree from
George Washington University in 1977. In
1977 he completed study at the Missouri Auction School. Stuart is also a CAGA certified
appraiser.
He
is a member of the Frederick County Auctioneers Association where he has served
as Treasurer and President, Maryland State Auctioneers Association, and
National Auctioneers Association. Stuart
is a licensed Pennsylvania auctioneer.
Stuart
Stein has been active in the auction business in Maryland since 1975 conducting
numerous auctions, and has been working with Trout Auctioneers since 1980 as an
associate auctioneer. He has appraised
antiques, collectables, and personal property completing approximately 30
appraisals in each of the last two years.
He has attended several National Auctioneer
Conventions where he attended seminars on antiques and collectables sold at
auction. Currently he attends an average
of two auctions a week, and sells at twelve auctions per month, to keep up with
current market prices. Additionally he
has been selling on ebay since 1996, keeping abreast of the Internet
marketplace.
